We often are asked where certain items are from in our rooms, so I will be sharing where everything came from in this post.
We hope you enjoy Tenney Grant's room tour!
The paint color we chose for the walls of Tenney's room is Pink Harmony by Ben Moore. It is such a pretty, soft color with tones of pink and peach blended into a perfect shade of blush.
Tenney's white daybed and nightstand are both retired American Girl pieces. The bedding and garland I custom ordered from Pearl and Jane on ETSY. I did add some of the embellishments to the pillows, like the hearts and sequin stripes. I also added the gold heart garland, and fairy lights, that I found at Target during Valentines. The initial above the bed is a sticker decal from Michaels that I applied to painted piece of craft wood also from Michaels. The unicorn was a lucky random find on ebay.
The apple lap top is a compact mirror from Amazon.
Tenney's desk is Chrissa's retired sewing table from AG. The large white frame is from IKEA, and we printed off the poster from google. The smaller frame with Dolly is from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. The large light up star was originally a hot pink plastic from Target's dollar aisle last year. We painted it gold and added a sequin trim to it's edges for some added sparkle. The vase and flowers are from Michaels, and we made the tissue poms. The gold zipper case is a pill case from Target and the mini books are from Barnes and Noble. The little gold bird was a salt and pepper shaker we found at Cracker Barrel that we painted gold and added a pink bow to cover the holes on top of it's head. The mini nail polishes came from various Our Generation sets from Target.
We are huge Dolly Parton fans, so we could not leave out our favorite living legend and Country Queen from this room! Tenney's blonde locks, guitar, and love of song writing, reminded of us of our beloved country icon. We also love how Tenney's new hand mold can actually hold the frame!
Tenney''s white fur rug is a piece of fabric I ordered from ETSY.
The small handy white table is actually a vanity bench from the Springfield doll company.
Tenney's tall white bookcase is American Girl's retired Storage Tower.
The chandelier is a locker light we found at Joanns Crafts. The dog bed is American Girl, I spray painted it gold and added the gold dotted sheet to the cushion it came with. The dress form is from American Girl Isabelle's collection, the white dress is from Elite Doll World on ETSY. The jean jacket is from Tenney's meet. and the necklace, from her picnic outfit accessories.
I found the gold sunburst mirror at a local boutique. The lamp was a Christmas ornament I found at Walmart a couple years ago. I painted it white and gold and added the trim and embellishments.
The boom box is from the Our Generations Car Wash set, the pink flower is an ornament from Hobby Lobby and the gold horse trinket box, we found at Cracker Barrel Country Store. It was originally bronze, but we painted it gold and added the sequin trim.
The Get it Girl case is from Charming Charlie, and the gold boots are from American Girl Saige's collection.
The candle is a mini candle from Bath and Body Works. The flower pot, flowers, and birds are from Michaels.
We named Tenney's dog, Dolly, for obvious reasons! :)
Logan came by to visit Tenney and see her new room!
Saige also stopped by for a visit, these two have become fast friends!
Saige was also gracious enough to bring lunch for everyone!
We think Tenney's picnic set is one of the cutest sets ever! The sweet tea with lemon in the mason jars is my favorite! We loved this set so much we had to get two.
Thank you for stopping by to see Tenney's room tour! I will be adding all of our doll rooms we have completed already, to this blog this week. The next room we will be working on finishing is Samantha's ice cream parlor and I can't wait to share it when it is done!

I know I have told you and Sami this way too many times, but your Tenney room is incredible! I guess the reason why I love it so much is because I have never seen any American Girl room like it before. :) This weekend, I am going to try to re-do my dollhouse bedroom and kitchen, and hopefully mine will turn out somewhat like your awesome creation. ;) Again, Great job!

This bedroom is SOOOO cute! I would love to see more doll rooms!!
ReplyDeleteThat is simply adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is ADORABLE!! My daughter just started liking AG, and she wants Tenney. A couple questions - what size are the white Ikea frame and the frame with Dolly? I'm trying to figure out the scale. Also, what makes up the walls, floor and ceiling? Is it a dollhouse or a shelf?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the inspiration!
